About Kali's Eye
A custom stained glass art studio located in Austin, Texas.

I began as a student of regional stained glass artists Ted & Jan Weiser at CSG Studios 25 years ago. My work has been exhibited in several East and West Austin Studio Tours, at local art fairs such as the Westbank Library's Laura's Market, local pop up shows and galleries such as Flip'N Art in the Hill Country Galleria. I specialize in creating custom window, door and cabinet panels – as well as other unique forms of stained glass art. I am a small establishment, focusing on the individual custom client rather than mass production.

I do not have a retail site and do not carry a stock of pre-made stained glass window or door panels.  Because most people desire these items to exactly fit a specific opening or area they cannot be prefabricated. I do have a selection of whimsical art pieces and a line of three dimensional decorative items. These include hanging dragons, wall art, candle holders,  picture frames, flowers, wall and hand mirrors, garden and pond decorations. See the Gallery for examples of larger work and the pages listed under Sales for smaller items. Please contact me for pricing and availability. Not all items are in stock. Most can be replicated in a wide variety of sizes and colors to suit your needs.

I can do repairs and restorations on existing stained glass panels or objects. I do not give estimates over the phone, as it is essential to carefully examine older pieces before working on them. Keep in mind that the value of some antiques can be ruined by any repair, even the best one. (Antiques Road Show is not lying.) Furthermore, the cost of repairs is high in comparison to new work. Even small repairs may require complete disassembly and reconstruction, essentially doubling the amount of work compared to a new piece. Depending on various factors, it is not uncommon for it to cost more to repair that small lamp imported from China than than you originally paid for it.
